beecher is 21-years-old, how on earth do you know he's not an NHL player? Ullmark was great 2nd half last year, it's important that the Bs have a 1a, 1b type scenario until Swayman is through another year or two. Prospect pool is weak and we already don't have a 1st this year, wont trade next years unless the return really improves the team and this doesnt.
Id like Zacha and Wood on the team, but not by giving up that package. Cassidy would eat Smith up

cap crunch
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>time will tell, but I'm not giving up assets for him then paying him a big contract because of 1 good (potentially career) season. Its just a massive gamble. I remember a few years ago people were drooling over guys like Dzingel and JGP who also were mid 20's and having career years. Neither players has gotten back to that production again.</div></div>
for sure. but thats the inherent risk of trading for a guy like that. I think Fiala is at least a level or two ahead of Dzingel and JPG in terms of skill, age, and potential. would love him on the Bs if he could play C

cap crunch
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>He had 337 games of NHL experience going into the season, its not like he's 25 with under 100 games. To think that after 337gp something magically clicked and the guy went from a fringe 50pt guy to a P/GP player is asinine</div></div>
Yes, but you absolutely have to weigh the 67 ppg pace (with pretty moderate icetime) he had in the previous two seasons far more heavily than his first few. Not every player has their breakout year at 21 or 22. Tons of guys: Tage Thompson, Jesper Bratt, Elias Lindholm, hell even Marchand, just to name a few off the top of my head have had/ are having similar cases, if not more drastic.
There's a far better chance Fiala stays near a ppg than reverting back to .5ppg

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>I'm all set on Fiala. His production this year is up 70% from his career average which is a massive red flag. He's also an RFA with a $5.1 million QO and coming off a career year, so he's going to ask for the moon.</div></div>
i mean saying his production is up 70% from his career average is pretty stupid. He's 25, it's pretty obvious he's simply growing as a player. Compare it to his Minny stats if anything.
I'd personally love Fiala, cap just wont work

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dekes</b></div><div>trust me im going to tell you right now according to every other fan in the league not one boston player is worth a first so do yourself a favour and delete this before you get ripped a new one
not like debrusk isn't scoring at a career PPG rate of .55ppg and in 4 of his 5 seasons in the league was on pace to score 20+ goals if it wasn't for shortened seasons and or injuries
while also debrusk has improved massively 2way and can play all special teams but no he isn't worth more then a 3rd</div></div>
you think Debrusk is worth a 3rd? are you on crack?
(just realized this was sarcastic)

Scheif Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CMcAvoy73</b></div><div>Watch. There’s reverse bias here. He plays for my favorite team. He’s a mediocre third pair d man that probably shouldn’t be in the top six of a contending team.
This is a perfect example of how garbage advanced stats are for d men.</div></div>
shouldnt be in the top 6 of a contending team??? wild statement imo. He has lapses here and there, but he's one of the better dman I've watched in transition. Great speed, excellent first pass. should absolutely be more of a weapon in the ozone with his skillset, but he does everything you want from a bottom pair guy, can be complementary guy in the top 4 if need be

What to do in offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vr1995</b></div><div>hes a 40 point guy, got 27 goals once, middle 6 player, hes not getting a first, leafs should sell high on their wingers if debrusk gets a first
also the screenshot you posted has him as a middle 6 player lmao</div></div>
the "middle six" is based on ice time, not production. He's well outproducing his ice-time. Hence using ESG/60.
Kapanen got a 1st+ and Debrusk is certainly a better player.
He's a 25 goal a year guy with playoff success. That type of player gets a 1st rounder

What to do in offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>vr1995</b></div><div>cherry picked stat, hes a 40 point winger that is lazy and isnt good defensively, bruins fans are clinging to his career year 3-4 years ago, hard for them to accept that they screwed not 1 but all 3 of those picks, middle 6 winger</div></div>
goals scored at even strength are pretty damn important. When you're playing 14-15 minutes a night compared to 18-19 like many others, per/60 minutes is a very applicable stat to level the playing field.
Saying he's not good defensively is simply incorrect. Analytically, he's one of the better defensive players in the league. https://cdn.theathletic.com/app/uploads/2022/03/06115021/Screen-Shot-2022-04-06-at-10.28.05-AM.png
He's had one bad year, a covid, injury riddled season last year. If that's what you look at, you're certainly the one cherry picking.
seems like its hard for you to accept that Debrusk is a top-6 player
