They can most likely get Stecher for free. I don't think anyone is going to give up much for him and he's a UFA. I'm pretty sure he wants to back to the west coast where he is from and if a 7th is the best Yzerman gets he might just let him go where he wants at the end of the season.

First, I don't think you watch him play much if you think that, he is far from a bust LOL. and second, even if you take only the 3 first rounds picks, it's still too much. Eichel went for 2 first, a second and Tuch. Didn't know 2 years of miller was worth as much a Jack.
