I don’t like or hate it from the rangers side. If jets are really selling at the deadline rangers would give up a BIG package for Scheifele. That’s more of a rebuild move tho for WPG.

Dillon is the most popular D to trade for Jets fans I've noticed, that's across reddit and twitter as well as here. Seen as the most expendable mostly because of the LD logjam I think. But I agree with you he should stay.

So, the Jets give up a valuable trade chip and overpay hugely for a malcontent winger they have absolutely no use for and trade two other good players for low end LD's to add to the Jets deepest defense position and retain to boot. Very poorly thought out deals that do nothing to help the Jets. Although I'd imagine this is meant as a troll.

Would much rather get a pick for Stastny then some prospect who's probably no better then the umpteen other LHD the Jets have.

Lundkvist and a 1st would just be a part of it. I could see kravtsov/Chytil and maybe a lesser prospect like Robertson being included as well. Rangers are weak at RW so they won’t give up kakko and it’s way too early to have the discussion on trading laffy. I doubt the rangers want to move Schneider but I’m sure that’s what WPG will want over Lundkvist. A trade is there, it’s just trying to find the right pieces.
