Not trying to interfere or anything... but if you lower the ask on the WC roster player Bouw and #1 starter Greiss... I'm sure you'd have the salary to take on Doughty... also you send Clutterbuck back so that also saves you 3.5M

i'd move prospects and lower line players, and what picks i get depends on who i'm moving.



Greiss is a #1 goalie ... look at his stats ... bottom pairing d-men don't make team canada at the WCH2016 like it or not.

like who? my prospect group isn't great but it's okay. The main prospect i'd move for a 1st is David Quenneville, but before you say 'WHAT!!?!?!?!? WHO'S THAT??!?!?! NO WAY!!!!!' i want to tell you a bit about him ... most wouldn't know who he is, but he's a D prospect who got over a point per game in the WHL, and with what i've heard is good defensively. Not saying he'll be the next Brent Burns or Erik Karlsson, but he should be a top 4 d-man with some offence. I could also add depending on the pick.

He also did it as an older player than those guys in his draft +1 year. I'd be interested in a prospect like McAvoy.

McAvoy would cost a top pairing d-man.

I'd give up a middle pairing dman and picks for McAvoy. If it's a top pairing dman I'd need you to add. For Quenneville I'd give up a late round pick or similar type prospect.

I value David Quenneville like a mid-tier prospect; Bouwmeester is a cap dump, and the late round pick nowhere near compensates the offset from those two assets.

I would start with (2) 2018 1st round picks
