I dont like how he doesnt score. But he works hard every night and he's fun to watch. I dont know what it is. He does everything right and then cant getvthe puck in the net. It's like hes getting cursed

Penguins aren't taking that long term cap hit back in this trade. That's not happening. They have their own plans. Frankly I trust Hextall way more in FA than the bone head moves JR was making.
IF they manage to move Zucker and create cap space with that, he can do better than this with it and not give up assets.

These moves are the most realistic I’ve seen from Pens fans trying rob hid a cup contender. However I would be really surprised if they levy too much of the future for today, but we shall see I think with all the injuries and COVID protocols teams are going to have more cap space and this trade deadline should be a good one!

I just can't see N MTC Zucker having Montreal on his clubs to be traded too. Nor can I see Hakappaa being traded so cheaply. Maybe the best things the Pens can do, is not take on any long term cap and "hope" for this year. Gee, the way they have been playing...they have best chance of any team coming out of the Metro division.

We could take Zucker as MTL fans and retain 50% on Toffoli he would be a lot cheaper for you for the rest of the season and next one. This way you had more $$ to help u down the road. But yeah as a MTL fans I would prefer Poulin over Legare but that just my opinion here.

so Poulin was drafted higher, but I like Legare more. He has a wicked shot and he seemed more NHL ready from the (few) preseason games they've played. Both have been disappointing tho

It is a long term cap hit for the penguins.
Two years when your best players are 35-36 years old is long term.
They get out of zucker next year, if not move that contract and have the cap space.
Hextall can better with the cap than Toffoli, so why do they want to carry that hit for 2 years. They don't.
