I know it's Christmas, but the Jets shouldn't be giving Boston that big a gift. Debrusk isn't worth the 3rd, let alone adding two more pieces for him. The Bruins would love it though if they could get that kind of return for DeBrusk.

I hear ya'. It's hard to tell what would happen IRL, but DeBrusk hasn't looked like much for a couple years and he has asked for a trade, so that usually brings down his value.

At a fair price, DeBrusk might be worth a try though. TheJets need to try something to fix the overall lackadaisical attitude on the team. I just don't think DeBrusk is the type of guy who would help with that.

Also it's the 3.6m qualifying offer next summer. Gotta think there are better value out there this year and in the future.

Could treat it like a rental, if the qo doesn’t make sense, possibly similar to what Carolina may do with kk. I would rather gamble that package on a home run swing then a 1st on strictly a rental. Idk, maybe Debrusk could help but I'd rather keep Stanley really think the Jets need to build some size back into the defense, hopefully we see Samberg and Kovacevic push for jobs in the next year or two.

Also not sure if this package would really interest the Bruins, don't really know what the Jets have that would interest Boston for Debrusk.

Ya was tough to figure out value for debrusk, and if Boston would want a Dillon or stanley, and or what the prospect would need to be to make sense, possibly a harkins or a ahl prospect forward. Would like to gamble on a winger that has potential to crack top 6 for next 3/5. Vesa doesn’t quite have the needed wheels, harkins doesn’t quite have the hands, svech doesn’t have the investment in him. Copp getting expensive soon and possibly never a true top 6. Perfetti a little light and young. Was thinking move stanley and buy sometime for Samberg with Dillon sticking around. But definitely decisions and cash crunch coming.
