Lehkonen would be a fwd target that makes sense for the Avs, a rental like Pavelski makes sense. Giroux probably is the biggest name TDL rental that will be available, I dont see the flyers coming back from eh dead

Good thing about the Pavelski retention is that he is a UFA after the season, so if a trade like this happened, they'd only have his retention for a couple of months.

Thats not how it works. If they retain on pavelski they would have to retain till the end of the season meaning they couldnt retain on kessel.
