And Wennberg was the #1C on the Kraken last night. Would you like him to play the #1C for TOR??? Didn't think so. You know the difference. CAR had a rotation of two backup goalies for years. CAR should have kept Ned, but he wanted to go to DET. CAR propped up Mrazek to look like a decent goalie. If you want to call him a 1b...(ackup)...fine whatever. You win, you're still stuck with a overrated and overpaid player in net.

Yeah, no. Like i said every metric that exists says hes a low end starter over his career. Hes paid like one and is one

What metrics are you referring to? One of the worst to give up rebounds? Not good at medium danger shots? It was well known Carolina was rotating two backup goalies for years with Mrazek and Reimer, was discussed many many times on here. All the sudden Mrazek goes to the Leafs and some homer leaf fans are now claiming he's a 1A or 1B...LOL this is honestly why Leaf fans get the reputation on this website. If you think Mrazek is going to be as good or better then he was in Carolina behind one of the top if not best defenses in the league, you've got another thing coming. You will see by the end of the season why he's not more then a backup and the blue and white fans will realize he's not worth his cap hit with a zillion AGMs on here trying to trade him for a 1st.

Toronto really should not be even thinking of moving him. Yes he is expensive but if Campbell goes down who you got Woll?

I know he shutout the Isles but really now thats ridiculous

Mrazek when healthy is a very good goalie. He took the Canes to the Semi's his first year in Carolina and then to round 2 the next 2 years.

Even though it will be a tad expensive keeping him is a must for long term success.
