Even though he is struggling a little bit I still think they would ask for more than that. Don't get me wrong Newhook is good. Even last year Petey was still good in his games and he was completely dominant 2 season ago. He's like 22 years old I still think he'll be fine

I think that’s pretty fair value for EP. Kadri returns a 1st if they flip him, Compher probably 2nd.

So that’s essentially:

That’s pretty comparable to the Eichel trade.

With that being said EP is the face of the franchise and is young enough that even if the team chooses to rebuild (which I doubt they will) he’s likely kept around for the better days that would hopefully be ahead.

The Avs would be so dumb to do that. EP is nice but they have MacKinnon who is better, so you are basically trading 4+ 1st rd picks to upgrade your 2C spot. So dumb.
