Still a decent lineup and the ducks have 3 firsts, that is pretty enticing for a new GM to come to.

thats too much to give up on the Avs deal, if they are giving up 3 draft picks they can get someone better than Rakell and with term. Deslauriers doesnt hold nay value to the avs and TBH hes pretty hated by hte fan base and the team for also trying to hurt and fight avs players, especially kadri all last season, They gave up a 4th for McDermaid, they dont need Deslauriers at all

Boston declines. I think they would be interested in Manson, but they don't need another middle-six forward. Especially one with term.

Also, it seems more likely that DeBrusk would be part of a "change of scenery" trade. Similar to the PLD/Laine trade last year (obviously to a lesser degree). Or at the very least, a trade where the Bruins are getting another youngish player back.

Yes, I know the Bruins have a hole at 2nd line centre, but Henrique is not a solution to that problem. And there's still hope for Coyle to effectively fill that role, for now.

Lindholm with 50% retention (+taking back HIckey and Clutterbuck) has far more value than Rakell + Deslauriers.

Though I would trade MacDermid for Deslauries heck I’d even throw in a pizza.

i 100% agree if bruins target at 2c they need a playmaking center that somewhat resembles what krech was the problem with that 2 line is that all 3 of hall-coyle-smith/foligno is that they are all goal scorers none of them can hit hall with that long stretch pass and properly use his speed.

in terms of value though it really isn't that bad id expect manson to get around a 1st+3rd so henrique for debrusk that isn't bad value but again due to henriques term i think it would draw bruins away as most their depth is set up to expire around the same time 2022-23/2023-24 and thats kinda where boston goes into a big retool. i would be down to just aquiring manson good size
and physicality would probably partner up with reilly while grzz with carlo and forbort with chucky

I think the Ducks also move Getzlaf if he allows them to. Cause why not give him one final chance for a cup.

If he wants to retire a Duck he can do what Zajac did sign a 1 day deal and retire.

Terry could also be in the conversation is a team offers a big package for him
