Comment voir réellement la suite des 6 prochain mois? La rumeur de Lafrenière me creuse le crane depuis 3 jours au point où j'en dors mal (ouais c'est sa la passion du sport national) ... Laffy et Suzuki avec Anderson pour rebâtir serait tellement fou. Si on pense en unité de 5 je crois que d'avoir enfin un premier trio et un vrai duo en défensive devrait de loin être une des missions du tandem Hughes-Gorton.

Lol, I definitely understand the people who say french is hard to learn, bunch of accents and weird pronunciations but I grew up with one side of the family being English and one side being French so I’d say I’m as close as you’ll get to a perfectly bilingual person, since I went to a french school though, I can have slight difficulties with some English sounds but it’s pretty even in terms of understanding

Well I'm not really into getting lafreniere because the only asset they would be enticed by except for out untouchables is romanov. What I would like is the habs to make a package of romanov + 1st 2024 + Primeau for Spencer Knight. We don't have a young goalie with starting potential, I don't have trust Primeau will be that. I think the habs if they don't get top pick, should draft a LW, one of kemell, slavkovsky, or Miroshnichenko. I also would want the habs to get a ufa in free agency like forsberg or gaudreau. Gaudreau's favorite player was st louis, so maybe he'll want to come. But what I really think the habs should do is target a 2023 ufa because there are a bunch of gems like Pastranak and kane and pacioretty, but I think Habs should target jonathan hubereau, he'll be fine coming here. For the 2c I wish the habs could get bedard, but let's say they don't, we should target a ufa like trocheck but maybe Kadri. In 2023 there's O'Reilly, larkin, and horvat, and toews. I would really like O'Reilly, so best case scenario:

Huberdeau - Suzuki - Caufield
Kemell - O'Reilly- Anderson
Roy - Mysak - Heineman
Poehling- Evans - Kravtsov

So obviously with romanov who would be gone, I think Habs could draft Seamus casey, he's an underrated defenseman this draft, so defense :

Guhle - Casey
Norlinder - Mailloux
Harris - Nils Lundqvist

Knight - Dobes / other backup.

BTW maybe with another 1st we can move up in a draft and get Brad Lambert for 2C.

I think at this deadline, habs will trade chiarot, lehkonen, Dvorak, Hoffman, and all the depth guys.

So A) that doesn't get us Knight, Primeau's okay, Romanov's great but most likely ends up as a good 2nd pair guy and that 1st doesn't move the needle, especially if Knight continues to grow, our best chance to get a good goalie is through the draft or FA unless we want to move a prime asset for an amazing goalie. B) I think we're almost guaranteed to pick one of Cooley, Wright, Savoie, Nemec or Jiricek at the draft, those are our biggest needs for high-end talent ( please don't draft Miro with our 1st pick, he has the high ceiling but wayyyyy too many concerns, if we want a winger, go Kemell ). I'm also not sure why you're planning FA's and trades with so much unknown, planning the future Habs should usually only involve who we have now and who we could get with the picks we have now and say we'd fill _____ role in FA or by trade

Well habitantlecolon was saying the visions of the team with lafreniere. Yeah kemell should be our choice. I think Florida would take that package. So our holes are top line lw and 2nd line center, we could get those through free agency or 1 for 1 trade
