Avs not doing that...Barron looks like he may be an NHLer- but he probably projects as a 3C. Strome goes UFA in a year. Hajek- can't see much interest- especially as part of a return for the Avs' 2C and top prospect. Unless you're sending a blue chip prospect or two and/or 1st round draft picks COL will have no interest in moving Newhook....and that's without Kadri attached.

Edm won’t do that. Won’t deal Holloway and maybe only have a passing interest in Georgiev. If Georgiev really wants out and other teams know that, Rangers will be lucky to get a lot back to move him now.

I’d offer Koskinen with salary retained to keep goalie cap hits for teams the same and say Lagesson and a 5th. Don’t think Rangers do that, but don’t want Oilers giving up much for a goalie that may never be much better than the back-up they are trying to dump.

To me, Edmonton clearly wins this trade, so that’s how I know it’s not real 😢

That trade is nowhere close to even. That’s a bunch of crap for a lot of quality. Strome is the most over valued player in CF. Barron and Hajek are fringe NHL players at best, and Aaltonen isn’t even that. COL wouldn’t trade Newhook alone for that crap package.
