Comeau went to the cup finals in his career Komarov didn’t. Plus Blake played 16 minutes per game while Komarov only 13. It’s a clear choice that Blake Comeau is more reliable because he isn’t stuck with superstars and he’s carrying players such as Heiskanen while Komarov is playing with Barzal.

Comeau is known to be a locker room DJ so he could cheer up McDavid and change his mind on not leaving. Also Blake is an assistant captain, he is a true model for all of the young guys.
