I can see leaving it at "Philly isn't trading Coots." That's justified. But it's a very valuable package and one that I don't think the Avs would do.

It is considering that Girard is a LD that we have plenty of while making our RD even worse than it is already.

Girard is extremely versatile. He played the right side almost all season and had the best year of his career doing so.

I can see Philly saying no because the simply aren't interested in moving the guy, but if they were to trade him I think this is a generous offer.
