Johnson is a bit of a downgrade from Graves, considering how good he was on the penalty kill. I personally think COL needs to get someone who can create breakaways or rushes, like Tyler Motte or Jonathan Drouin. Gaeten Haas is fast too, but he's gone to Switzerland

Johnson healthy is a significant upgrade over Graves, a significantly better skater and higher hockey iq. Graves is a nice player but is overrated and is a 3rd pairing dman whose effectiveness imo drops when he is asked to play to many minutes. He also has a nasty tendency to bomb away from the point when there are better options on the ice and make the odd in opportune pinch. The kicker being EJ is always seeming to fight an injury. The ideal solution is Byram continues his growth and can pair with Makar allowing Toews and Girard to play together who were so good.
