Usually the going rate for taking a salary dump like that is a youngster with a lot of potential (Ghost Bear) in exchange for scraps or a late pick. Not a Top 6 winger, a good young 2-way center, an alternate captain, a first round, and keeping a bunch of salary on top of it.

Would have to be after expansion. The flyers am pretty well protect anyone they want to with their current lineup.

Not a chance. Tatar hasn't shown any progression in the past 2 years and in this new NHL he is getting close to his peak already.

Personal opinion. Tatar is a stud. No one has progressed the past 2 seasons. Conveniently when blash took over. He's still young. 25 I believe. I just know philly had interest in him and with all of your young ld prospects was curious if ghost was something you were willing to give up.

That's probably closer but I think if we were to actually move Ghost, we would want a better top 6 player than Tatar
