It’s so difficult to judge mcisaac because of the injuries. There’s never a question that top 4 potential is there just been a rough development arch. Will be interested to see how this season goes, think it will be a defining season for him, good or bad

Almost identical to the team I was putting together. The only thing I have different is swapping Bean and Gardiner.
Might not have any trade partners for Gardner but bean and pesce could be a really really good pairing. And bean probably has more offensive upside than Gardner at this point imo

Still worthy of being a good starter in my opinion. He’s definitely not my first choice goalie, second choice goalie, or even third. But he is a decent starter who we probably won’t have to break the bank for.

Excited to see what Steve does leading up to the season. Definitely a lot of options.

Maybe. But honestly I don’t see any potential for lindstrom past a 3rd pairing right d, and his value will probably not get any higher than now unless he takes a leap forward.
Way I see it. Bottom pairing D prospect and a 3rd for a starting goalie for a couple years until dipietro takes his job

It has to be ball park close and about as good as Detroit can hope. Bean stuck behind a log jam and hasn’t hs as much of the wow factor as anticipated and Ned has potential but is stuck behind reimer and Mrazek next season and I believe is waiver eligible. Would risk losing him for nothing. Will be interested to see what Stevie can pull off

While it may not be 100% spot on. The value is atleast close. I just don’t see the wings moving zadina. Especially without a main piece coming back. Fleury on the wings would be one of the better defensman. But realistically at most he’s a #4 guy in the league. And Marty while a great locker room guy, isn’t much more than a bottom 6 forward. And who knows where that first ends up with the inconsistency of the leafs. Too much potential in zadina for that package

The way defense rose in this draft, which really was started by us, means a lot of really good offensive talents fell to the second round. Stevie knew something. Probably going to get a first round talented forward here at 35, but honestly who knows. Trust the captain.
