Detroit is not trading a 1st line winger unless another 1st line winger is coming back. Doing so would prolong the rebuild by several years.

Detroit is happy to trade for Dunn but will not offer more than the Washington #22 pick.

Not a slight against Dunn at all but the reality is when a team and town loves a player you have to overpay. Detroit loves Bertuzzi which means any trade for that player will probably end up costing you more than he's actually worth. Because of that, this offer wouldn't be seriously considered.

That Detroit trade is lopsided toward the Blues, who would never make that Arizona trade. And that's not getting Hoff.

You will lose Dunn for nothing in expansion draft and Santini is a AHL RHD, which Wings do not need.
