I’d take Lavoie and mid to late pick if they decided to go futures for Debrusk.

Not really the route i want them to go but i think Lavoie will up being a 2nd line RW.

I’d prefer they trade him for a D man if they are going to trade him. However i think the D trade market dries up a quite a bit after the X draft.

Regadless, this is better than the usual Kassian/Laggeson or Kahun/Samorukov crap.

I like Lavoie's offensive upside, but the knock on him as always been his defensive game and consistency/effort. This also is the knock on DeBrusk (more the consistency/effort than the defensive game).

I think it’s inevitable. Especially with Neely’s public comments about the 2015 draft. Would not be surprised if all 3 of those 1sts are gone by opening day. All depends what the market will bear. Selling him low for sure. But if there is a reasonable deal i think they take it.

If they move him for futures than turn around and sign a Coleman/Saad type to replace him you add a prospect and upgrade the roster. 🤷🏻‍♂️
