Why would Toronto add, or even be interested in Kane? An overpaid winger that causes more off-ice issues than he's worth? A guy that can't stay away from Vegas and filed for bankruptcy because of it? Toronto management has made it a priority since day 1 not to tolerate off-ice issues - it's the main reason why Kapanen was traded. They're not gonna add more to this type of deal or even be interested in a guy like Kane because of it.

I am saying, to most teams, 1-year of Rielly is worth less than 4 years of Kane.

Kane's rap sheet is far longer. There were issues with him back in his Winnipeg/Atlanta days. This isn't just a 1 time thing. It's multiple with him. & he continues to have off-ice feuds with Ryan Reaves still. When there's a long line up of issues, it drops a player's value significantly.

But hey, maybe if Toronto trades for him he can bring MLSE some more money by agreeing to fight Logan Paul at the ScotiaBank Arena.

Kane never committed a felony. He has debt issues yeah but I’d say crashing into a Tim bottoms drunk is worse than being bad with money

yeah I thought about the got beat of part of it but he is signed for a decent rate for #1 goalie, played pretty well over the last couple of years and is a huge upgrade in our weakest position. I have been thinking maybe this team could be turned around with trying to dump all of the bad contracts if we just got league avg goaltending.

I agree, we can't afford to lose 25-30 goals for a LHD, when we already have Knyzhov to play with EK65.
