Realistically, NYR could get Dillon, Zadorov, Van Riemsdyk and two or three of those UFAs, and come back a lot bigger/tougher/more experienced next fall. Hayes is a reach. Rasmussen, Couturier, and Wilson are consistently unavailable no matter what the offer, on here. I don't think these offers change that.

Zach Jones is a good prospect, but he might not be very exciting to WSH right now because they have so many solid LHD prospects. Blackwell is a 28 year old center with 32 career points. There is a 50 contract limit. Those two don't make a great offer for Dillon. So it's Kravtsov and a mid-to-high 1st for Wilson? Decent value. But in a weird draft I don't know how confident WSH is that they can hit on that pick, and Wilson plays pretty well on the Caps' top line, with or without Ovechkin, so... it's not quite there.

Throw in Schneider, and take out the filler.

Looking only at the Chicago trade, Sure.

Hard pass from Detroit.

Ignoring the rest of the trades, I'd pass up on Zadorov. Dude is a realistically a 6/7 quality dman who will command over 2.5M. Not a good investment of cap IMO. Also ever since his draft year I have not been a big fan of Rasmussen, I personally had him in the 45-60 range for the 2017 draft. Not that I think Schneider will be a top player, but trading away Schneider in that deal is not good.

Right. But Detroit has enough RHD. Scheider to WSH has some positive value. Jones to Det has some positive value. As is, since the trades ignore the other teams' needs, they get rejected out of hand.

All I'll say for that trade is there better be a flipping extension in place for Couturier otherwise I mean good god what an insult to Rangers fans 😨

as a flyers fan, that trade would be an absolute steal for us and only makes the rangers worse.
