Description
Protect for Expansion draft:
Zucc (NMC), Fiala, Ek, Greenway, Patrick, Foligno, Hartman (cause they can)
Suter, Brodin, Spurgeon
Kaapo
Exposed: Soucy, Talbot, Rask, Ghost
Soucy is picked cause good younger D man. If anyone else is picked it would free up more cap space and could lead to more potential moves.

The Wild could avoid buying out Rask and use him for his last year and eat the 4 million without signing Nick Foligno but I would love to see the Foligno brothers playing together.

Overall I think this team is very deep and would be very competitive if the young guys perform.

    Pretty nifty yeah

Kappy >> RNH I mean he's posting similar point totals with wayyy worse linemates relatively. Also much better posession numbers as well. What a gem he is.

Reckon the Parise deal is a bit too long for that imo

Maybe to a team who wanted to rebuild until 2025

But all the teams who should do that are stubborn

That’s fair. New Jersey might be one of the few places he would waive to return. Plus the team has plenty of cap to take his contract until he LTIRetires.

If the Kap >> RNH is about the lines, the lines are just set up who I think would play good together. Kap and Zucc were playing good together, Ek and Greenway play good together, Fiala needs someone and I think RNH could be good with him.

Also on Parise I know it’s a long shot to move his contract but it would be nice if we could. I also think BG is at least trying.

Why sign RNH? If Wild want another wing it's got to be for a guy with a right hand shot. I hate Ek as a 3rd liner Wild are killing him. He has produced when given the opportunity with linemates that have offensive ability.
Adding Nick Foligno, though he is a good player, doesn't give the Wild anything they don't already have. Sturm needs to play. Parise is with the Wild until he physically cannot play anymore, or gets tired of 4th line/ healthy scratch. I'm betting he trains hard this off-season and gives it one more year and retires or goes LTIR after that, but with the flat cap no one is jumping on the Parise train. I've loved watch Parise but everyone gets old and that sucks.

I think Parise to NJD would have to come with more attached than this. Probably both 1sts. If Minnesota can find cheaper option, they should do that.

You definitely aren't a wild fan. My gosh worst proposals ever.

Wild aren't trading dumba just to lose soucy

Wild aren't trading dumba for worst player, & contract in shayne, & huge risk in nolan Patrick

Wild aren't trading a prospect they just signed last year

Wild aren't trading a c prospect in Alexander khovanov

So on top of adding a 1st round pick, you add a top c prospect like Alexander khovanov?

    Completely serious.
It would be more expensive to send him to NJD than probably anywhere else.

Whatever you say. But I’ll take the bait.

You do trade Dumba to lose Soucy. You ideally bring in another forward that you can also use that extra protection for. Cole is likely to resign and we have plenty of depth to fill that spot. So you protect 2 more for the price of Soucy.

Nolan has been healthy this year, is currently being shopped, and has upside to be an actual 1C. You take Ghost back, which he will be on the third pair. You also clear 1.5 mil in cap. Also that’s why I added a 3rd because of taking on ghost.

Khovanov has promise but you need to give something to move Parise’s contract if you can. It’s wishful thinking but if you’re actually a Wild fan you should be seeing a 7.5 mil player playing on the 4th line.

You’re either a Wild fan that’s delusional and content being picks 15-20 in the draft or you haven’t actually watched a game or know anything about hockey.

I know you’re a troll but oh well.

Should address a few things in this. For Signing RNH I see him as a more skilled Johansson. Fiala is missing someone to play with (initially why Johansson was brought in) and I think RNH could play well with him. Plus he can also play center if Rossi isn’t ready yet.

Ek being third line means little. Wild kind of run all 4 lines and the top 3 lines can be interchangeable.

Signing Foligno. I just wanted the Foligno brothers together. Lol. That was it.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

Wild aren't going to trade dumba just to lose another top 4d in spucy

Nolan Patrick has migraines, & light sensitivity. He has played really bad for philly.

Migraines & light sensitivity isn't something that just goes away. I deal with it. So yes. Nolan is a huge risk

Clearly it shows you are the one who doesn't knows anything about wikd or hockey because if you do , you wouldn't be making this points

Good to know you don't manage wild, because Guerin has made it clear he's not trading 1st round picks. or prospects

Soucy is not a top 4D. Have you looked at his metrics? He's a Corsi black hole with an absurdly high PDO making him look superficially good. His -7.1% relCF% is only better than Luke Johnson, Greg Pateryn, Matt Bartkowski, and Louis Belpedio.
