Buyers? No, but they are 9-2 in their last 11 games. They have played Florida and Tampa 3 of those games and are 2-1 against them.

Ok and? You expect them to beat 2 of those 3 teams in the playoffs in best of 7.

Not saying that at all. I don't think that NSH needs to go full rebuild mode though. Saros has been great in the past two or three weeks, and he's a big reason why Nashville has started winning. The team in front of him has also started playing much better too. They aren't the same team they were a month ago. Are they buyers? No. Should they be aggressive sellers? No. Maybe trade a couple expiring contracts, but they should keep the big names, including Ekholm unless they get the crazy return they want for him (a first, elite prospect, and another piece). If this team hadn't come out to start the season as bad as they did, they would be right up there with Florida, Carolina, and Tampa in the standings.

Haula had his chance to come to PIT. Don't see them wasting draft picks on an underperforming guy now.

Definitely a possibility. I don't know if they have 7 forwards worth protecting right now is the only thing. If they do plan on going 7-3-1, then they definitely have to send Ekholm or Ellis somewhere in the next week. They can't afford to lose Ekholm for nothing.
