I think Palmeiri's price will go up. Rumors are that the Bruins may be interested in him (no confirmation) but I think a lot more teams will be interested in him than they will Hall. Just my opinion.

No not really Bode Wilde's value is close to a 1st. Palmieri will never get you a 1st if Hall doesn't. It happears that BUF will trade Hall for not a 1st sooo...

Yeah I know there was a lot, but Bruins were just added to list so I mentioned them, personally I thought they may add a defenseman instead with all the injuries they have. The Leafs are mentioned in every name out there so I tune rumors revolving around them out most times..lol

It makes sense, but they'd have to do some cap shuffling I would think. To be honest Foligno would be my first choice for the Islanders, but I definitely wouldn't complain if they got Palmeiro. I'd rather it be him than Hall, I think he fits the Islanders system a lot better.

any other year I woudl agree on Hall, but look at the talent he had around him and it was not good. Palms had a 19 yr old and a 21 yr old who barely played this season

Bode Wilde's value is not close to a first rounder- and I never said Palmieri would go for a first. Bellows and a 2nd is the floor here- so it's either Bellows and a 2 or Wilde and a 2.

I say this as a fan of the team he played on and a fan of him-
Taylor Hall's team history is not good. They are not the greatest to start with, but they don't get better with him. And they certainly are not better after he leaves.
He is in fact a better player than Palms, but let's be honest your trade is for decent Taylor Hall, not this guy. The trade for Palms is less better KP. So what are you trading for? At least Palms is putting up pts Hall is not!

True ahahahah. But Hall was pretty decent when he was with Eichel at the beginning of the year (first 2 weeks where BUF was somewhat decent enough). It's just that NYI already have like a lot of average top 6 forwards. Thinking about Nelson, Pageau, Bailey, Lee (injured)... Don't get me wrong Palmieri is good but Hall brings something they don't have (outside of Barzal). Playmaking. I might be wrong but I've always seen Palmieri as like the 3rd piece of a line. The finisher or kinda... They already have that unfortunately. But looking at the leafs, for example, I think they might move a 1st for him but I'm niot sure if they would rather have him or Rakell/Granlund
