Agreed. But, is Staal worth a 2nd at this point? Or, is he just unhappy in BUF and will he be reinvigorated on a contender? Because right now, he looks old and slow and unhappy.

Compher for Staal is a straight swap or the Avs add a late pick if they want retention as well. The NAS trade is horrible. Saros is injured and it's an overpay with our best D prospect involved.

You have to think about getting a 30-40 goal scorer for only a 4.25 cap hit with term. They aren't going to let him go. Saros, I didn't realize he was injured. Avs need to give gru a break. Olso, they won't be giving up anyone that wouldn't be caught in a log jam for 3 years
