Description

Was just thinking about where Eichel would be interested in playing and who has the actual pieces to get Eichel and turned to Chicago.
Obviously this would stop the Hawks rebuild and immediately puts them back on the map as contenders. That would be a big decision with management. worth it? maybe, probably not, but if they want one more run with Toews, Kane etc, this would be an interesting way to go about switching up the franchise.

Obviously not too serious of a post but if the goaltending holds up, this team is kinda nasty. Know the Hawks pretty well but not a diehard fan so lmk what yall Hawks fans think

Ya Chicago can only do this with out using those two names and minimal firsts. Toews would need to be retired also, with his money off the books.

Buffalo should take that and run, but Chicago probably declines. Would you do Toews in his peak, Hjalmarsson, (Dach and Beaudin potentials) plus a solid .7ppg offensive center in Strome and a 2022 1st in a deep draft for Eichel. The answer is no. If Dach and Beaudin realistically live up to their potentials, Strome continues to play the way he is (he just turned 24 and will get better likely) and that 1st even becomes a bottom 6 player, this trade will look bad in a few years regardless of how good Eichel is.
