Ultimately, I don’t think NSH gets a guaranteed 1st for Granlund though — maybe a conditional 2nd that turns into a 1st if the team makes the conference finals or something.

Granlund isnt going to cost a 1st round pick... at best a 2nd round pick, a mid level prospect and a roster salary like Vesey or Barabanov

Well Preds will accept this, although I wouldn't use Granny as a C. He's more effective on the wing imo.

I think straight up Gran gets a 2nd. With salary retained he likely gets a first. It’s a super weak draft and I think 1st will be thrown around a lot.

Retained salary on Granlund would be around 750-800k... thats a 4th round pick at best and not a 2nd to 1st jump. a 2nd round pick and a mid level prospect or a 4th round pick would be more than enough
