No argument there, but the Kings don't have a #2RD or a guy to possibly replace Doughty someday. Roy is great on the 2nd pair, but he doesn't have the offensive ability to be that real #2 guy. They basically get a dynamic RD under 25 as well as a dynamic LD to play with Doughty to give Anderson and Bjornfot easier minutes to develop. All at the cost of 3 expendable prospects and a good draft pick, but then again this draft isn't great. We still have Byfield, Turcotte, Kaliyev, Madden, and Faber.

I would add Spence and a 2021 2nd in order to take off Kupari if they'd be willing to do that.

Value isn’t bad, but I can’t see NSH trading their 2nd d pair in full. I think it would be something like Thomas, Helge, 1st for Ekholm.
