I think if Eichel puts pressure on them to trade him at least getting 2 1st rounders + 1C + top 4 defenceman + 2/3C and a project winger wouldn't be a bad return.

Miller is good Gaudette really isn’t anything you would want back in an Eichel trade that probably won’t happen. Tyler Myers isn’t very good either and has a horrible contract.

I could def see them wanting that but the canucks wouldn't trade them. I think if Eichel leaves it's a huge problem for the organisation as no team has elite 1 for 1 swap players available.

In this case I tried to make it even by giving 2 1sts and Miller who has been outstanding on the canucks. Over ppg last season and playoffs and this season he's just 1 point away from being ppg

Yea tbf I could have just cut the trade off at Miller and 2 firsts but I thought I would add Gaudette and Virtanen since they are in rumours lately. Myers has been one of our best D this year, he does make some dumb mistakes but he's overall been good and I put him in to deal with the cap.

Who else would u add instead of Myers to make the cap work if we were basing it off of Eichel for Miller 2 1sts ++

Realistically they would want Horvat and Höglander. Probably more too, I’m sure a lot of teams would want Jack.

But, is it wise to take on $10M in salary when you've got Petey and Hughes to pay next year? Is there enough money coming off the books to pay them both? Edler and Pearson's contracts will pretty well add up to what Petey is going to get.

I think so, because sending both Miller and Myers the other way gives some cap flexibility. Not to mention the canucks don't have to resign Montour if he doesn't pan out. The team will basically have a couple more million to spend than what they do now.

Which players available now would u like for Eichel. With the laine and Dubois situation taken care off, there isn't any high profile young gun available for trade.

Obviously goes against what I just said, but I said this summer here’s a package for him I personally like: 7OA in 2020 (so last year, can be switched to this years first), a second this year or next, Nolan Foote, Ty Smith, and Nick Hischier.

Also players available right now doesn’t mean they won’t be available in a month from now, 2 months 3 months, next summer. Can still move him then

A lot of times the trades that do happen are much worse than what fans expect when stars get traded which makes it very complicated.

And sometimes they are more. On Eichel’s case I doubt it, but I don’t think they are going to offload him cheaply either. The years left on his deal give Buf that security

VAN doesn't need to trade for Eichel, they already have a solid core.

I personally think he'd make them contenders. With Eichel Pettersson hughes boeser horvat Demko hoglander podkolzin Juolevi, no team would have a better core than the canucks.
