It delusional to think Marner and Tkachuck would ever be anything more than a 1 for 1. That being said I don't see why either team has any interest in trading them. Using the whole "Leaf fans overvalue" rhetoric when we are taking about two players who are both high end players is nonsense. Marner has almost 70 more points in almost the same games played.

You are exactly right and we do not need or want Matthews, especially if we are trading Stützle. This might sound bold, but I wouldn't want Matthews even if it was Matthews+Anderson for Stützle. He is untouchable. I am only interested if we aren't trading prospects and getting Sandin, Liljegren, Hyman, Spezza (I am really high on him, but I know it will never happen) or Robertson in return.
