Agree on NJ and CBJ. Zibanejad plus Lafreniere is fair value for Eiechel, and with both teams in the basement, the Sabres might see the value in getting younger, plus flipping Zibanejad for picks/prospects.

But there is no way. No. Way. There is no way that it takes Colorado 2.5 whole seconds to pass on Byram for Deangelo.

They said that publicly after a week of NYR fans posting stupid rip-off deals involving DeAngelo, Strome, and some late picks and busts on here, and the NYC sports media acting like that could happen.

Buffalo fans mostly responded with either, "No way. Throw in Zibanejad," or "yeah, right. Throw in Lafreniere."

That was back when the Sabres looked like a potential playoff team for this year, and expected to be able to sell tickets for this year. This week, I think the value is pretty fair. I might even be brave enough to post it on their side.
