Lol. I would hate Hextall if he did any of these deals!!

Why is OLE worth a 1st round pick, and two 2nd round picks and Dumoulin.

When him and Dumoulin are the same age(29) and OLE is twice as much money and a 7 year term to Dumoulin’s 3 year term?

I don’t think he’s that big of an upgrade over Dumoulin(paying 8.2M for 7 more years instead of 4.1M for 3 more years and a 1st and two 2nd round picks)

OEL is definitely an upgrade on Dumoulin, Pens are in win-now mode and they need upgrades on D. Dumping Matheson's contract and getting Hjalmarsson with 50% retained certainly justifies the draft picks, and Arizona may ask for a prospect too.
