You'd probably struggle to find a majority of Avs fans who would trade Jost for Bennett straight up given how well Jost has started this season too; he's te Avs best PKer by a good distance and looks a step faster than last year, and is sporting a CF% over 55%. Just a very reliable player in the bottom 6. But in theory a Jost for Bennett swap is probably pretty fair.

Needless to say, Avs aren't trading their best two defensive bottom 6 forwards for Bennett.

i like jost more than bennett and nuke more than simon.

Nichushkin had some of the best 5v5 impacts in the league last season. Can't ask for more from a bottom 6 fwd. Don't see the benefit for Colorado here.

I agree, Nuke is much better than people give him credit for imo, and that 8th in Selke voting really shows how good he is.

Bennett has been steadily been less productive throughout the years. But I do like how you did the cap and production comparisons.

Yeah that would be a no from COL. Guys that goon up and go after a teams top players like Bennet did in the playoffs 2 years ago are not welcome additions, and COL already did a **** move like this when they added May after the Bertuzzi debacle. That and Bennet sucks and is being pushed down the lineup in CAL.
