For barkov extended? Absolutely. Cozens wont get moved for a season and a half of anybody.

Not really. Can't see any of the assets going FLA's way having a higher potential than a mid-6 forward or bottom-4 D. Not a single top prospect or NHL level asset (with the exception of Miller, who isn't really a dealbreaker). The draft pick is a question mark.

Any deal for Barkov starts with Cozens and then some.

Barkov is arguably one of the 7 best C’s on the planet 4 middling assets a 1st and 2nd is a whole lot of spare parts for an elite asset, I mean Reinhart isn’t even included.

Mittelstadt was a top10 pick who still has potential
And even with Barkov, the Sabres still aren’t a playoff team bc of our weak goaltending, so that 1st would be of good value too
But like i said before, i do agree those pieces wouldn’t be enough

I agree with this. For our purposes, since the ask is going to be cozens plus, there has to be an extension. Without that, the sabres could make a decent offer that most likely gets turned down or beaten, and thats fine.
