Get real no way would Petry accept a deal to Calgary, The only reason he signed long term with Montreal is because he wanted to be as close to home near Detroit as possible i believe it's only about 400 miles between Detroit and Montreal no way will Petry accept a deal to crap hole Calgary.

I tried doing this once myself (Trading everyone on the team) and seeing what was the result. Either the return i wanted for certain players was unattainable by anyone or half the team was selling them off short.

Fun exercise but you'll never make this one of 2 things, fair in the eyes of MTL fans or fair in the eyes of the other teams. Truth is trading one player for fair return both ways is hard. Trading everyone accurately, is damn near impossible.

I didn't say it was supposed to be real. Just that even doing this just for fun, at least getting the values for both teams fairly, is really really hard. Almost impossible.
