I dont know much about Lindstrom, but i imagine Svechnikov is KHL bound after this year since he cant seem to sniff the lineup of one of the leagues worst teams.

Joe Veleno is having a pretty good season in the SHL. I'm hoping in a year or two he could be our 2nd or 3rd line center

Yzerman wants to give Svechnikov one last chance. That's the reason why he resigned him and if he hadn't resigned him Svechnikov would be in the KHL now. Lindstrom is here to stay wether its with Detroit or another team. He is a defensive defenseman and he won't put up a lot of points but showed a lot poise in his first 16 NHL games. He doesn't get flustered and turn the puck over like a lot of young defensemen do. He will eat the puck before trying to force a pass. In my opinion Hronek and Stecher are the only RDs better than him on the team now and the gap between Lindstrom and Stecher isn't that big.



I seriously doubt Tuomisto gets traded. I could see Lindstrom being traded before Tuomisto especially with how he has played since being drafted. I personally wouldn't trade him for Roslovic straight up and his holdout isn't helping his value at all. But it looks like he will end up in Pittsburgh.

That holdout doesnt affect the trades as he has to sign before Feb 22 anyways...I just doubt the Jets move him for barely anything...esp unproven ppl

Holdouts don't affect all trades but depending on the player it does. Players like Marner and Nylander it has no affect they have already proved they are at the top of the league when it comes to skill and production. Players like Roslovic, Puljujärvi, Andersson and Honka all players drafted in the 1st round with a ton of potential but they haven't been able to translate it to the NHL yet. I do think it affects their value at least some teams.
