Don't see it happening simply because depth is so important this year

but by removing 4.2M you could add a better depth piece with 5.1M in cap

No doubt, but depth on defense and in net proved to be more important for us last year. We've got forwards to slot in with Bowers and Kaut, both of whom would be playing in the bottom-6 for some teams (Coyotes/Jets/Wild/etc.)

I'm not sure why you'd do this. Senyshyn isn't gonna help you now or in the future. Your better off keeping the depth on the blue line.

Yeah I see both sides of the argument. If avs were against the cap I’d say it’s a good move, but they have room so they don’t HAVE to move Cole, even if he won’t play

I think that we should keep Cole, he’s not a liability on defense and even though his contract isn’t amazing the avs still have cap space, and if Byram is ready than great we can keep Cole as a depth piece. Next year he will probably just walk in free agency.
Guys none of this matters, the bruins are first to reject anyways...
They just didnt sign Chara to give the young LHD the time and space they need to play finally.
They dont want Ian Coles Cap hit (No reason for it)
And IN MY OPINION Senyshyn look solid in his few NHL games with the bruins style of play, he could crack the lineup soon too.
But IGNORING MY OPINION, its still a bruins rejection
