Buffalo dosent accept as they want to win now. Also Hall wants to stay on a team for long term, theres no way the avs would be able to keep him after this year.

And Boone Jenner for Compher+. Yikes thats an bad trade, Compher is clear cut the better player right now so why in the world are they adding?

IMO, that is an overpay for Hall.

Av's would be better off keeping those players and picks and avoiding that guy altogether.

Idk Sakic has been doing excellent with contracts. You don't want Jenners, unless maybe you shipped Donskoi out

I like Jenner personally, a tad overpaid but great defensively and can put up some good offensive numbers with some good line mates. I hated him in the TOR-CBJ series, thought he was great.

I feel for the Avalanche if they were going to get Hall they would have signed him during free agency, they probably won’t trade for him, and Newhook probably is not ready yet.

I agree that he's not ready but the experience of practicing with the big boys and stuff like that on the taxi squad would be very beneficial. Plus I think he could fill in for a few games if absolutely needed

He has pretty bad defensive analytics. Tbh I feel like he's just an average 3c at best. He was really good in that series though, unfortunately probably our worst forward in the TBL series

For Newhook it’s probably better for his development if he plays another year of college verse him playing on the Taxi Squad

Not saying it makes sense for Colorado to give up this much for a rental but if Hall returns to his 2015-2019 form, he’d be the best winger on Colorado.

Rather have saad and burakovsky in top 6 roles over hall.
Avs have 0 reason to add him at an extremely bloated rental price

I doubt Hall will struggle in Buffalo. The guy’s career average is 75 points every 82 games. Considering his most common linemates have been Gagner, Zajac & Soderberg (none of them close to elite), that is quite impressive. Imagine what he’d do alongside Eichel. Probably score at a 100 point pace. Everyone loves to criticize him but the truth is, he does get the job done, he just gets no help.
