Why does VGK need to ditch Tuch?

They're over the cap. Most of the discussion I've seen centers around moving Tuch as he has the biggest cap hit in the bottom 6

Honestly, if I was WPG, I'd take a look at Tuch. He's really good and could easily play on the 2nd line if Laine does get moved. Maybe Tuch + Martinez for Niku + Roslovic + picks?? Not sure if thats close, but I'd be willing to add on WPG side. If it has cap issues on jets side, just send MP85 to OTT/DET with stanley for a 7th.

That’s merely fan speculation and Lehner will be on LTIR so that frees up some cap space. VGK has a ton of players with positive value that could “ditch” and I’d wager someone would gladly take Tuch (if they wanted to move him). I’d also wager GMKM has some possible moves he can make when he was negotiating with AP.

Come on we all know Chevy will send Vegas a pick for Holden, Chev loves helping out his old buddy Kelly!

Read in the Free Press that Niku has been working out and is almost 200 lbs now, I'd like to see what he can do now that he's got some meat on his bones, was always opposed to trading him for a rental though anyway.

I wouldn't mind Martinez for a mid round pick or something but doubt Vegas chooses to move him, their defense isn't all that great even with the addition of Pietrangelo.
