He'd likely highly consider moving it to go home.

I agree the deal isn't close, probably starts with Cozens. But with Kane being unhappy with management, saying he wouldn't waive is pretty obnoxious

Can you name 1 franchise superstar that requested a trade to their hometown? Especially when that hometown is the worst run franchise is the league? There hasn't been a single report saying Kane is unhappy with management.

He's from Buffalo so maybe he waves NMC to go home and gets a chance to play with Eichel. I think adding a 1st next year probably gets it done. Good for both teams.

Closer to what exactly? Cus I'd argue the hawks are closer to a cup than buffalo. Other than dahlin and eichel they're pretty bad

That's clearly not what I asked but fine. Tavares is the obvious one and probably only superstar player that chose to go play for his home team. Can you name another

Did I stutter and say request? Nope. Said he'd consider waiving for them. Also the chance to play with Eichel. Would definitely intrigue him to at least consider it. Remember reading that word, CONSIDER.
& you thinking they're the worst run franchise is your opinion. Some fan. That doesn't mean that's what he thinks, & you don't know what Buffalo would say to him to convince him to move. You're being incredible bias with an opinion that doesn't matter the slightest. & multiple reports have been out that "the core isn't happy with management's moves this off-season". Do you not consider Kane part of the core or something?
So how bout getting your head outta your ass and take away your personal opinion of the situation and look at it from a players point of view. Chicago had their 3 cups and then went to hell quickly after, time to move on. Sorry if it hurts your little feelings that it might include moving Kane. But your personal opinion doesn't affect him

Maybe but Sabres signed Hall & Staal, and Dahlin should take a huge step forward... Deal's not gonna happen anyway because Chicago would be stupid to trade their star but if they did at least this deal makes sense for both sides.

Hall is one and done in toronto and the staal trade would've helped 10 years ago. Chicago isn't looking to trade kane and toews. That's my whole point.

This has zero to do with my opinion. Buffalo is well known as the worst run franchise in the league. Most buffalo fans would agree. Hence the whole eichel never seeing the playoffs thing. Not to mention the revolving door of coaches and GM's.

That is 100% your opinion. Many people have said Ottawa is. Or Arizona. Or Florida. Again, those are all fan's opinions. Which mean less than nothing.

For the last time. Stop giving Chicago your bust #8 overall picks. We took one and it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be. Montour and Reinhart? Good piece starters. Mittelstadt no.

Kane is chasing Blackhawks franchise points records that have stood for decades which sells tickets to games and further cements Kane's legacy in the NHL. It's a win win for the Hawks and Kane to stay together through thick and thin. However, I do think Buffalo is an ideal destination for Kane if something changed. Can you imagine how pissed off Toronto fans would be if the Buffalo Sabers emerged out of obscurity to win a Cup before Toronto. It's hard to disagree that Buffalo can be a very good team with the moves they've made this off season. 100% agree that a Kane trade with Buffalo involves Cozens. And we want Jokiharju back!

The revolving door of coaches is not opinion. That's fact. Phil Housley was an absolute disaster! And the Ryan O'Reilly comments after he was traded to the Blues are a credible, informed opinion. But the times seem to be changing and Buffalo has made some good moves for the first time in a decade this offseason. Hall and Eichel should be a good point pair in Fantasy Hockey.

That's not getting Kane and it's not close. Reinhardt, Cozens and a 2022 1st and Hawks retain $2M. If Buffalo isn't willing to, then we gladly close the door on talks.
