Overpay for gaudreau imo

Slight overpay I think. Maybe swap Farabee for Voracek? I dont know if that would work cap-wise.

I think Farabee and Frost and a 1st is an overpay. If you're looking at Ghost as a cap dump, it comes closer, but hes no cap dump.

One of those two youngsters and Ghost and a 1st is probably close, but I think still weighted towards CGY.

Even the lineup above shows the massive issue and why Philly doesn't need Gaudreau enough to overpay for him. Look at that lineup and tell me Gaudreau is a fit? (JVR, Lindblom, Giroux and Gaudreau at LW, only two centres, only two scoring RW, only retires Niskanens 6mil to come off with about 4mil in cap space and short 3 players without both your top prospects to call UP IN FROST AND FARABEE gone?)

Voracek is overpaid but I have never heard of a 60-point player cap dump. Its an oxymoron.

You literally replaced an ELC with an 8.25M 31 year old. How does that not mean dumping cap to you? Regardless of his production his contract is a boat anchor and does not have a lot of value. Maybe you can trade him for Brent Burns. That is probably fair, he was a point per game last year.
