Description

JBB knows some have to go. In order of preference
1/ Johnson, Stamkos slides in on second line and that becomes a better line
2/ Coburn, He played little last year his leaving has no impact
3/ Paquette, Stephens a solid replacement and saves about 1 million in salary
4/ Gourde, this is the one that hurts the most. He found his groove and will have a hell of a year.
5/ Killorn, If others cannot be moved due to NTC or negative value then Killer can be moved.
6/ McDonagh, Sergachev can slide in on second pairing. McDonagh down the road will be an anchor.

The price is right, but I can’t imagine the Wild being interested in yet another loooong contract for an old and deteriorating player.

The way Guerin is going that won't happen. he's taking 1 year bounce back players.

Can't imagine other teams are going to just give up picks to help out the lightning. I imagine theres more than 1 team going to offer sheet this offseason.

OH so tired of educating the minions here on life but here goes .. there are 31teams who have a view of "Tampas situation" .. each team has its own needs, interpretations of players and own cap .. team compete against the other 30 teams.. they do NOT focus on Tampas situation .. they focus on market and the teams do NOT share their strategy and player ratings with one another

SO PLEASE stop the 'dont help Tampa" crap ... GMs focus on 1 team.

Ya and if you're GM of your team your telling Tampa no, since teams cant take on salary as easy in a flat cap and they still have to save any space they want for free agency coming up.

It's a pretty basic economic system the NHL operates under, hope you can educate yourself on it someday

Joseph signed and sent him to AHL or maybe trade for a sixth round pick. I think they try to keep Gourde and the third line together if possible.
