Dont think the sharks are looking to move down from 31. Maybe 34 to 39 would make more sense though

Stastny is still solid, but for taking care of that much cap for Vegas and trading Dumba this package feels a bit light to me. Those picks will likely be late picks as well since Vegas is a very good team

Yeah that was my feel for it as well but then again Stastny and Fleury are still good. If nothing else we could consider this a starting point.

That late in the first round not a real big drop off in talent so I guess I could see it be the price, but who knows I could see it being the 34 pick as well.

Flower is a 34 year old goalie coming off a good, not great year, that has a 7 mil cap hit with salary close over the next two years and they need to move cap regardless of their plan on Petro. That contract will be an absolute bear to move in the current market. Maybe a 1st is a stretch but if it get him off the payroll sooner then it makes sense.

As much as Stastny can still add to a team I don’t think is value is all that high.

I don't think you'd be able to get the Islanders' first round pick in 2021. We already don't have a first rounder at this year's draft, plus the other second and thirds we dealt for Greene and Pageau.

Maybe not but I sent Minnesotas 2021 2nd so it's not really a loss of a pick more of a roughly 15 to 20 slot swap.
