I’d rather our 34 than Johnsson. Otherwise I don’t really like the Minny deal but Idk if they accept it nor should the sharks have dubnyk and jones; that’s just basically tanking

I’d like donato tho as you suggest

Donato I'm down for, but Dubnyk is a big red flag. I'm not totally sure how he doesn't drag down the value of that trade.

Minnesota accepts. It sounds like Guerin really wants to move Dubs and Donato is out of the plan, and the kid deserves a shot. That second seems fair value.

I think if Dubs was included the value would be less than the second. I wonder if the fact that the Sharks don't have a 3rd forces the hand.

You truly think 34th overall + 4th round pick for Johnsson is a "Maybe?" Good grief that's an egregious overpay for someone who is valued as a late 2nd rounder or 3rd rounder.

Can't see Dubnyk to SJ unless it's lots of retention or Jones back the other way. But I'm very glad it's now official SJ is going after Donato.

You make no sense.

You'd trade an earlier 2nd round pick and a 4th to move down to a later 2nd but wouldn't take a NHL player with it? .. Lmao.

You'd think right? We have tons of 3rds in 2021, but that's probably less appealing.

Yeah no. Johnsson isnt getting 34th himself. I would trade a late second for him but we dont have that. Also why would we pay you to move down? stupid

Yeah, I think a third this year is fair value for Donato so something would have to give. Maybe SJS sees some value in Dubs? Guerin is talking a big game about not buying out Dubs but if he can't move him for positive value, its hard to see a buyout not happening.
