Description
Wild land Laine to get another 30+ goal scorer, Domi to be a Temporary #1C why they use their draft picks to draft a future group for down the middle. If Fiala and Special K can hit 30 goals and Parise can find his form there is a potential for FOUR 30+ goal scorers on this roster.

Come on. Greenway and a second if we wanted Greenway, which I’m not sure we do

Not sure that gets Laine and I don’t think it helps Minnesota.

Don't think Laine makes sense for Minnesota. They need centres, not wingers.

& that doesn't make any sense for Montreal because it's terrible value.

Greenway was identified as a player MTL wants to get bigger on the wings. Not my idea, but we need center's and I'll take Domi (more a #2) who's better than what we have.

I bet they don't get a Top 2 Right Shot D and a 1st round pick form anyone else. They are worried about losing him and Dumba is exactly what they need. Sturm takes Little's spot at the #3C and they have an extra 1st and a 3rd. That's a haul. And last I checked... any scoring for Minny will help, they need it badly.

30+ goals makes sense for any Minnesota team... we need scores and as we keep hearing we aren't going to get a Center via trade... not a #1C. So get stars like Laine and draft your future C's. As far as the MTL deal goes, they have been reported to be interested in a guy like Greenway (bigger on the wings), tougher with Hartman given all small size of their stars like Suziki, Gallagher... Hartman adds the grit plus a 3rd rounder. That's fair, cause he isn't going to be in MTL by the start of next season.

WHEN those two players are moved, I bet they don't get more than these offers for them. We'll see...

Chevy would not trade Laine in division unless it’s a BIG overpayment, which this really isn’t

Oh, you’re 100% right Minnesota needs the scoring but I think the package would have to be dumba, the first, and a top prospect like Beckman or Boldy. That’s at minimum. I don’t think the Wild would want to give up that kind of value to languish in the bottom of the standings.

I would maybe even consider putting Beckman in (not Boldy). Laine is a potential 40+ consistent goal scorer who will only be 22. Those are hard to come by. I'd rather have the sure thing in Laine over the potential Beckman "might" bring. But I get what you are saying.
