it saves them a little of cap space to sign there dman and they get a first round pick for it and the leafs can use two solid forwards like them

They can move Killorn or Palat and keep their third line. These two have been a major factor in their playoff run they aren't losing both of them like this IMO

The Leafs should have trade Nylander instead of Kapanen to replace the 1st Rd pick they're missing and the Leafs could have got a better ELC player and another high Draft pick included.

What the leafs should do is expect others to drastically over pay for the leafs spare parts. Then get excellent value contracts without paying fair value for them. Makes sense haha
