I could get behind a Nylander/Liljegren - Parayko framework but adding the 1st and taking back Bozak's $5m doesn't work

I feel similar. Leafs don't have the cap space to do that anyway. Bozak also has to waive his no-trade clause and the Leafs don't need his skills right now.

Nah that ain't good for Blues. They need all the money they can get to re-sign Petro, and they surely aren't moving Parayko without being absolutely certain that they can keep Petro.

We just can't take $5m for a 3rd line C when we have much cheaper options available. I think Kyle is making moves to keep bottom 6 forwards all under $3m. Unfortunately we appreciate the predicament all too well...but Bozak would need to be moved in a separate deal
