The Rangers are already good and this past season proves that they're just tanking, they've got great players already imagine if a few other guys had better seasons than Laffy, that would piss him off and he'd want out just like poolparty wanted out of Edmonton, I believe only if they let him on the first line with Zibby and Kravtsov, he'll have a great rookie and sophomore year, but honestly, what are the odds of that? Seriously like one in a million, just think of it, so that being said, leave him in the minors for one more year to develop a little more and that gives a chance for the Rangers to get rid of certain unneeded players, they already do not need the king right? I think he’d rather be outproduced by a player or 2 in the nhl than wasting another year in the minors. He was clearly way too good for the juniors. He looked bored at times in the Q. Bring him up and see what he can do.

The Chychrun trade is actually pretty good. The Buch trade is a pretty quick decline from the Rangers.
