The Montreal trade isn't a good deal for Winnipeg. It's a lateral move at best and just moves the hole from center to wing. I don't see Winnipeg giving up 5 years of Ehlers for 2 of Domi.

You obviously over value Jets players in this deal . Chevy does the same thing over values his players therefore he seldom makes trades!

You are obviouly over value Jets players . You all think we should trade Laine !! It doesnt have to be that way . This trade and the roster I have created solves most of the Jets problems.

Perrault is a salary dump . Roslovic is not the answer Poehling eventually will be a number 2 center I would prefer Danault Montreal will probably not part with him . Therefore it has to be Domi . This the type of conversation the GMS would be have .

Perreau is for Winny and a good asset for Mtl youth at C... as we need to get better on faceoff.
If we can get Ehlers/ Roslovic/ Perreau for Domi-Lehky or Armia/ Poehling... Marc would already sign the deal!!! but Chevy said NO THANKS

If you read the comments by now you'll realize that you are in the minority. Ehlers is the best player in this deal by far. Poehling will not be a 2C...looks like you're over-valuing MTL players. I'd much rather our GM make smart moves rather than a bunch of trades that we end up losing. I don't think people realize how good Ehlers really is. All of the proposed Laine & Ehlers trades are hypothetical anyways because neither will be moved...almost no chance.

That primarily plays RD is what I was getting at. If he looks better playing LD then it makes sense but his current utilization is RD primarily.
