Might be a hot take, but-I don't think this team makes the playoffs. I have zero faith in that D-core after Gio, Anderson and DeMelo.

Interesting, I have a lot of faith in that D core I think. I think that Andersson makes the top pair better, Valimaki graduates quick and Gio improves the 2nd pair greatly, Mackey is going to be an upgrade on Kylington and Bowie fits nicely where we had to play Stone last year once in a while. I also believe that Johnny and Monny playing sheltered minutes greatly improves our team defense.

You'd probably have a better idea than me TBH...I just don't think I'd be comfortable pinning my hopes on Valimaki without having a solid backup plan.

I have every confidence (barring injury) that Valimaki out performs Hanafin as soon as he steps onto the ice.
